The APGEF proudly announces partnership with the Polish Student Society at Columbia University in the city of New York. This new development is part of our 2014-15 program which involves strengthening cooperation with Polish institutions and associations abroad.

The Polish Club at Columbia University promotes the greater understanding of Polish culture, public affairs, history, and society throughout the University and broader New York City community. The Club welcomes members of Polish origins but also those sharing an interest in exploring Polish culture.

The Club hosts the annual Chopin Piano Competition, holds exhibitions, traditional holiday celebrations, professional events as well as movie screenings. Recent screenings have included Oscar-nominated Ida and Joanna, which was followed by a Q&A session with Director Aneta Kopacz at Columbia University.
